Welcome to the Nassau County Radio Club (NARC) a not-for-profit organization designed to promote excellence, fellowship, and education in all things Amateur Radio.

The club is open to everyone, this includes those newbies out there who are not yet licensed ham radio operators- but seek to be. You may not know where to start your ham radio journey, so come to a meeting and meet some of the friendly members who can help you on your way. You will be pointed in the right direction as to how to take the new code-free test as well as what equipment to buy. So what have you got to lose? They're YOUR airwaves too, use them!

The club is also a great place for experienced hams to get together as well. For years NARC has prided itself on being first and foremost a "teaching club" on every level. Several active members are in the RF field professionally who delight in sharing their knowledge with other club members. Rarely does a club meeting go by where even the most experienced ham hasnt learned something new.

We meet every Monday at the special activities center located in Eisenhower Park, New York. There is plenty of parking for all.

NARC also operates its own 70 cm repeater station that all are welcome to use on 448.925 MHz, PL 114.8. This may seem very sophisticated to you newbies, but dont worry, its VERY simple to use the repeater once you know how. Those of you with new ham licenses can spend 5 minutes with a helpful club member and you will be on the air instantly- its that simple. So come on down, join us, and have some fun.
